"The Last Color"
Okay... so I am learning stuff everyday. Today we're continuing to shoot a film in the back of the place where I work. I am around with my camera as usual and am practicing some photos. The lessions I learned today is that lighting for film and lighting for photography don't necessarily match up.
On video, the above scene is breathtaking but is lit for high definition video. On my camera screen, it is still breathtaking but red. Very orange and red. However, to the eye on the set is was very orange and red. So, why am I not happy with my color photos? I don't frankly know. I have some homework to do. It's like having to shoot low natural light, no flash and be happy about it. I'm not sure that I know quite how to pull this off... yet!
In the shot, this is a SOOC image (straight out of camera). On the left is a sepia image, the middle is the original and right is black and white. How would you go with these?
