"Draw Bridge Open"

Okay... I know that the Jordan Bridge opens every 23 minutes it seem, but I caught this one. I saw the lights flashing and actually could have made this but sometimes you just need to seize the opportunity!

"Me At Work"

A big hit around the photo shoot was the kids playing with my cameras. I am constantly asked "What kind of camera do you shoot"? And I get comments like "Wow... nice camera"! Therefore, I am always willing to show people and let them hold and sometimes shoot with my equipment. One of my backup cameras (a Nikon D70 with my favorite lens attached; an 18-135 mm zoom) was passed around from kid to kid and this was one of the images from this shoot.

If you're wondering, I shot Nikon D200's on this calendar project. One with a Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens and one I switched back and forth from a Sigma 10-20 4.0 and a Nikkor 80 - 200 2.8 telephoto.

Meg is one of my daughters best friends. She is all over my blog here and is the reason for my being involved in the calendar project for Gates County Rescue.

"Nosey"

Last weekend I shot the images for a fund raiser calender for the Gates County N.C. Junior Rescue Squad. This is the dog that at the feet of the squad. We decided to put him in the scenario for this image in the background; a simulated sunburn victim.
